Golf Tracker 2.0 is the result of years of effort trying to create a tracking
system which would analyse your game in the most detail.
Hi, my name is Michael Dikun and I am the president of Golf Handicap Calculator.org
Let me tell you how we got to this point.
We started a few years ago by creating a service which allowed golfers to track every single one of their shots on maps of their golf courses using satellite imagery.
Each hole was
mapped indicating the tee boxes, fairways, bunkers, water, and greens.
This allowed for incredibly powerful and accurate stat tracking and analysis of your game.
With this extreme
power however, came increased complexity.
First
you had to spend hours mapping your course(s) and round entry took at least a half hour.
It was available at:
We tried for 2 years to get this to take off, but it was just simply too time consuming to use.
We couldn't get it to a point that would sustain the business, but we were able to collect a lot of highly
accurate tracking data.
Using This Highly Accurate Historical Tracking Information We Were Able To Prove What The Key
Indicators Are To Shooting Low Scores.
We ran the data through data mining and prediction algorithms to learn the best identifiers to shooting good
scores, in each area of the game.
After identifying them, we figured out how to capture them with as little effort on your part
as possible.
Then we designed our tracking scorecard.
Here is a look at the information that you'll track...
Score
Driving Distance
Fairway In Regulation (Left, Hit, Right)
Whether you had a shot at the green after your drive
Did your drive result in lost shots (water, ob)
Did you hit the green in regulation
Did you hit a bad approach shot. (miss green by more than X yards.)
Did you get up and down if you missed the green (including sand saves)
(and did you hit a bad chip/pitch/sand shot, which is automatically calculated,
by seeing if you got it within X feet of the pin,
and this distance changes based on the result of your approach shot.)
How close was your first putt in easy to identify ranges
(0-3,4-6,6-10,10-20,20-30,30-40,40-50,50+ ft)
and how many putts you took.
You'll be able to track your game on the course
using our printable scorecard or enter the info from memory when you get home.
Using our "treasure trove" of historical information we'll show you
the information you need to improve your scores.
Compare all of your stats against your adjustable target handicap, from +6 (PGA Tour Level) all the way to 30.
Reports can be viewed by last # of rounds, by month, by year and also include the following:
Up & Down Performance
How often you hit a bad chip.
(automatically calculated based on the whether you got it within X
feet of the pin, depending on where your approach shot finished.
)
Sand Save Up & Down Performance
How often you hit a bad sand shot.
(automatically calculated based on the whether you got it within X
feet of the pin, depending on where your approach shot finished.
)
Putting Performance including Average putts per round.
Three putt performance from each distance range.
One putt performance from each distance range.
Your scoring performance.
Par 3 scoring avg.
Par 4 scoring avg.
Par 5 scoring avg.
Scoring performance by type of score made.
How often you make Eagles.
Birdies.
Pars.
Bogeys
Double Bogies
Triple Bogies.
Quad Bogies or worse.
and how your target handicap performs in each of these stats as well.
Learn exactly what areas of your game are holding you back.
In addition, you'll be able to monitor your entire game to spot improvement, and
areas that may be slipping.
Have you ever wondered what was different in your game when you were an XX handicap? You'll be
able to answer that going forward now too.
